![]() ![]() If they are public computers, anyone with proper knowledge could install anything on them. Restart PC and boot from the disk or USB. Insert Windows 10 installation disk or USB to your PC. I would never use them for anything other than simple browsing, and never anything that required entering a user name, id or password. If Windows cannot automatically repair your PC, you can always try repairing the Master Boot Record or rebuilding the boot sector manually from the Command Prompt. My question to you is do you know of a setting in the Mac OS or a boot loader software that will allow this?Īs an aside, I would wonder if these machines had key loggers or other software that "monitored" use's moves. So, I knew the iMac was using Boot Camp but I did not know how or what software was used for the startup option. Once you picked your platform of choice, the iMac would boot in that platform - literally boot and not a virtual boot in that platform. This startup option that I am referring to was not the regular hold down the option key and see the startup disks but more like a software or boot loader on the computer. The iMacs had an option on the screen for guest to choose whether they want to use Mac OS X or Windows XP. I stayed at a hotel in San Francisco and in their lobby were two iMacs for the guests to use, which I thought was definitely different but cool. ![]()
